She is a member of UK VAA; Shaggag was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in1970 to Sudanese parents where they went to study. She did live in the UK, Sudan, US, currently resides and works in the UAE. Where she teaches fine art, and creates her artwork between her studio in Sharjah Art area, and her home.
